CORRELATION BETWEEN FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION CYTOLOGY AND CORRESPONDING ULTRASOUND BIRADS SCORE IN MAMMARY MALIGNANCY

The aim of this study is to evaluate accuracy ultrasound in diagnosing breast cancer and assessing correlation radiological findings with fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). Retrospective was conducted at IbneSina Hospital& Multan Medical & Dental College from July 2021 December 2021. Study on 40 patients aged between 30 90 years having limps. Subjects underwent clinical ultrasonic examination BIRADS score correlated data. Major finding that irregular lesion found 21 (52.5%) subjects. In 10 (25%) patientsill defined found. FNAC revealed severe atypia 7.5% mammary carcinoma 92.5% cases.BIRADS V, IV III were assigned 75%, 20% 5% cases respectively. Correlation results showed 90.6% diagnosis cancer. Ultrasonography provides accurate lesions recommended radiographic modality for underlying cause palpable mass.
